Blackhawk Names Kevin Hawley as Principal Engineer

WACO, Texas, September 04, 2013. Blackhawk Modifications today announced that Kevin Hawley has joined the company in the role of Principal Engineer. Hawley’s technical experience and expertise in electrical and mechanical systems and flight analysis will enhance the company’s new product development work, according to David Gee, the company’s Vice President of Engineering.

Blackhawk is the aviation industry’s leading provider of performance improvements for single and twin engine turboprop aircraft.

Hawley has been part of the aviation community for 35 years and is a 900 hour private pilot. His background includes positions at CAV Aerospace, where he led the growth of TKS aircraft ice protection system. Earlier in his career, he worked for Boeing Commercial Aircraft Company as senior engineer. He has specialized expertise as a Design Engineering Representative with credentials in ice protection systems and installations, and he holds a Masters of Engineering degree from University of Kansas.
