WACO, TX – April 2, 2018 –
Blackhawk is excited to announce that the Company has received Transport Canada approval for the King Air 350 XP67A Engine+ Upgrade. The approval includes the integration of Rockwell Collins Pro Line II and Pro Line 21 avionics packages, with Garmin G1000 approval imminent.

Keys to the upgrade include two factory-new Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67A engines and new 5-blade composite propeller assemblies and spinners from MT-Propeller. Training, support, and a five year/2,500 hour enhanced new-engine warranty are also included.

“Canadian Turboprop operators have traditionally responded enthusiastically to the many high-powered Engine+ Upgrade STC programs from Blackhawk,” said Jim Allmon, Blackhawk’s President & CEO. “We are not surprised to have already received several orders in Canada for our newly certified XP67A Engine+ Upgrade for the King Air 350. Adding more available horsepower has elevated the King Air 350 into the world of jet-like performance. This upgrade has maximized the highest levels of safety, performance, value, and flexibility, which lowers operating costs and saves on the bottom line. Operators can safely enjoy the fastest climb times, especially through inclement weather, and the fastest cruise speeds of any King Air on the planet.
