The Blackhawk XP28 is a simple, bolt-on upgrade for the King Air C90 that replaces existing PT6A-21 engines with current-generation PT6A-28s. The existing PT6A-21 engines are overhauled and upgraded through an STC developed by Vector Aerospace. The engines are then installed on the C90 airframe under Blackhawk’s STC. The result? More horsepower at altitude, much like the popular E90, and a host of other benefits.
